METAQ Project: Ecosystem Building Through Casual Games
The METAQ project focuses on building its ecosystem and enhancing user experience through casual games. Its main games, "Crypto Fishing" and "Speed 9," available on the platform, are differentiated by their Web 3.0 and Web 2.0 foundations, respectively. Both games are designed to allow users to generate value and earn rewards through gameplay.
Crypto Fishing
Project Background: "Crypto Fishing," the first game of the METAQ project, marked the beginning of the platform. Developed as an HTML5-based game, it is accessible across various devices, making it easy for users to engage.
Game Features: The game incorporates 3D modeling to create diverse and vibrant fish species, with premium fish available as NFTs. This allows in-game assets to be converted into digital assets, adding value to the user's gaming experience beyond simple play.
NFT Integration: The ability to issue NFTs for premium fish enables users to own rare items that hold asset value, providing opportunities for profit through future transactions.
Speed 9
Game Overview: Following "Crypto Fishing," "Speed 9" is a billiards game inspired by the classic 9-Ball game, emphasizing fast and intuitive gameplay. This game offers a unique experience compared to traditional billiard games, attracting new user demographics.
Collaboration and Co-Development: Developed in partnership with a specialized billiard equipment brand, "Speed 9" benefits from co-development and marketing initiatives. This collaboration enhances gameplay quality and realism, offering users a sense of professionalism and credibility.
Future Plans: Currently operating on Web 2.0, "Speed 9" is slated for a transition to Web 3.0. With plans to introduce an X2E (Play-to-Earn) model, the game will expand into blockchain-friendly markets, such as Southeast Asia, where profit-driven games have high appeal.
Reward Structure and Future Plans
Reward Mechanism: Users can earn rewards based on their ranking in the game, which motivates continued participation. This ranking reward system boosts user engagement and adds an element of competitive fun.
Revenue Model: In-game asset purchase systems generate revenue for the METAQ ecosystem, aiming to drive ecosystem activity and establish a sustainable growth model.
Additional Plans - Individual Airdrops: Individual airdrops are planned to encourage game activity. These airdrops will provide initial rewards to users, fostering early engagement and supporting user onboarding into the ecosystem.
Through its two core games, "Crypto Fishing" and "Speed 9," METAQ is actively building its casual game ecosystem. "Crypto Fishing" focuses on accessibility via HTML5 and value creation through NFT integration, while "Speed 9" enhances traditional sports gaming with fast, intuitive billiard gameplay. The ecosystem generates revenue through ranking rewards and in-game asset purchases, with plans to further boost user engagement and ecosystem growth by transitioning to Web 3.0 and introducing individual airdrops.
